Butter

 

Allison comes to me this morning and says, "Mommy, can I show you something?"  She guides me to the kitchen and shows me this, and declares, "I'm not going to eat the butter again!"  From across the table, she reassures me proudly, "I'm not going to eat the butter."  I can only imagine the self control it took her to stop eating the butter.

Cheeky??

 A few days ago, I put Nicole and Allison in timeout for being mean to each other.  They each had to apologize to each other.  When Allison was finally in the mood to apologize, this was her apology:  "Sorry for throwing a book at you and not...feeling bad."

They saw their cousins yesterday.  The baby was apparently not
going to allow anyone to interfere with his photo op.

Pink candy

If you're hanging around our house, you might witness something like this:

Nicole and Allie are playing.  Allie becomes upset with something (like Nicole bought some candy and doesn't want to share).  Nicole says, "Do you want a pink candy?"

Allie agrees happily, Nicole holds open her hand, Allie plucks the invisible candy from her hand, eats it, and then goes along her merry way.
