Yesterday...

Allie has been talking like a big kid, and sometimes she talks a lot.  I cannot, however, say that everything she says is reliable.  As I was changing her diaper tonight, she reported:

"When I was a baby, the witches took off my finger, and my sister come and say, 'Boop boo boop boo.' "

Last night, at the dinner table, we couldn't get her to stop talking and just eat her food!  And she said a bunch of other unreliable things which I didn't write down.  It's what frequently happens when I try to change her diaper:  she sings and talks the entire time, moving and wiggling every which way.

She likes to talk about what happened, "yesterday," and that she "accidentie" did something.  Oh, and one of my favorite mispronunciations is that, instead of saying, "Amelia Bedelia," she says, "Amellie Budellie."  (Though she still uses a "w" sound instead of an "l" sound.)

Nicole was a really good big sister yesterday.  She played with Allie all day (because she didn't have to do much summer home school on Friday) and taught Allie to play a competitive game called, "Spot it!" where you identify matching pictures on cards.  They built a fort and played lots of imaginary games.
